Morgan Dorr joins LDM Publishing as a successful producer, singer and songwriter. His successes include multiple productions with artists such as Fitz and the Tantrums, KT Tunstall, Bella Thorne, Victoria Justice, Lolo, Wrabel, Cimorelli, Haley Reinhart, Nikki Vianna, Pete Murray, Chaz Cardigan, Brandon Colbein, Transviolet and Emma Rosen.

Morgan’s unique talent in writing and producing music for the commercial ad space has landed him major spots in multiple global ad campaigns, including Hyundai’s “Twist, Shake, Shout,” Jeep’s Super Bowl ad campaign, “4x4ever” which was nominated for a Clio Award, and “Main Street Love: Meet Sam” for Truist Financial.

Originally from Boston MA, and a graduate from the Art Institute (Audio and Recording) in Brooklyn, Morgan was the bassist and lead singer for the rock band, Boys Like Girls. He toured with the band for 8 years to sold-out performances worldwide.

Morgan became inspired to pursue music after he found a guitar underneath his father’s bed. He soon discovered that his dad, Allyn Dorr, was a touring musician (bassist) with the band Loose Caboose and had recorded an album in Jamaica with Bob Marley. Morgan was hooked. He eventually signed a publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing, a venture which has brought him great success and allows him the freedom to express himself creatively.

Some of Morgan’s early musical influences include Queen, MC Hammer, Ace of Base, Motown and reggae music. His songs can be heard in numerous film and television shows including “Midnight Sun,” “The Late Bloomer” and “The Kissing Booth.” His song, “I’m in Heaven” appears on the soundtrack for the Oscar nominated film, “Annie,” starring Jamie Foxx.

In 2021, Morgan joins Lisa Dawn Miller and LDM Publishing to write and produce original songs and to reimagine the legacy catalogue of Lisa’s father, legendary songwriter Ron Miller whose standards include classics “For Once in My Life,” “Touch Me in the Morning,” “A Place in the Sun,” “Heaven Help Us All,” “Yester-me, Yester-you, Yesterday,” “I’ve Never Been to Me,” “If I Could,” “Someday at Christmas,” and many more.

Morgan created Highland Park Collective; a creative group dedicated to servicing the expression of a creative lifestyle through different mediums of art. His mom, Joan Dorr, is a registered nurse in Boston working in a cardiac surgery unit. Morgan resides with his wife, Ashley Dorr in Los Angeles.
